At 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2022, in the Library of the House of Representatives, the “Lebanese Parliamentary Elections 2022” book was launched by “International Information” and “Kutub”, which is a detailed statistical and documentary book for the 2022 Lebanese House of Representatives elections.
The book, prepared by Zeina Akar Adra and presented by Jawad Adra, is part of a series of publications that Information International continues to publish about the parliamentary elections in Lebanon.
The book consists of twelve chapters, the first of which presents the numbers of voters, voters, and candidates according to electoral districts. This chapter includes a definition of resident and non-resident voters, the number of those who voted, in addition to the voting percentage according to the highest and lowest voting percentages and sects in the smaller districts, as well as the electoral quotient percentage according to the districts, with a comparison between the 2018 and 2022 elections. This chapter ends with a presentation of the numbers of voters and voters, as well as polling staff and candidates.
The second chapter deals with the results of the electoral districts according to the lists, candidates, and votes in all fifteen districts throughout Lebanese territory. Its conclusion is a narration of the names of the winners and a calculation of the seats won by the lists, in addition to the votes of the lists with their various political orientations.
The third chapter is a presentation of the results obtained by the winning candidates according to electoral districts and political forces. It includes a table of the names of the 2022 representatives, and from this table branches another table in which the names of the winning representatives were published more than once, in addition to another table that mentions the names of the winning representatives for the first time, then a display of the percentage of preferential votes in the small district, with an indication of who received the highest percentage of votes. preferential.
